In a world that emphasizes grades and scores, there is a type of intelligence that is actually more important to long-term success: real smarts. Handling money responsibly and making the most of this resource is a survival skill that is not taught, and yet everyone must master this in order to be truly successful. Unfortunately growing older doesn’t necessarily make for wiser decision-making when it comes to money. You either know what to do, or you don’t; you either know how to look out for your best interests, or you don’t. Age alone doesn’t change that.
The mission of Real$martica, Inc. is to empower families to make well-informed financial decisions to their benefit.
- Centsability is an educational program designed to teach children and adults about handling money responsibly in all phases of life (i.e., valuing money, budgeting, goal setting, saving/investing, banking, credit, loans, renting vs. purchasing, starting up a business, retirement, and estate planning).
- Green for Grey Matters helps parents navigate preparing for college. Saving for college is only one component that people focus on, but other factors will determine if a school is affordable. Knowing how colleges/institutions will look at income and assets (parent’s and child’s) may make the difference between qualifying for aid and not receiving any, especially if parents start an action plan to maximize eligibility for aid before their child is in high school.
Real$martica clients learn what they need to know to be successful in the real world. It’s an education not found in schools; it’s an education no one can afford to be without.
