A Resource for Schools

Real$martica is proud to provide free, educational workshops in school communities to educate schools, teachers, students and parents about the importance of financial literacy.  If you are interested in learning more about any of our programs listed below, please email dina@realsmartica.com.

  • For Students  (K through college) – We show kids how money works in an age-appropriate way.  Sample topics include budgeting, identifying needs from wants, credit, savings, compound interest, investing, student loans and becoming an entrepreneur. Helping children develop good money habits gives students an important head start on financial independence.
  • For Parents – We teach parents strategies to save for college and improve the chances of receiving financial aid.  Topics include: how schools view your FAFSA forms, which financial accounts impact the financial aid process, and how to avoid the common mistakes parents make.
  • For Teachers – We enhance your math, history, economics, and home and careers lesson plans by presenting your students with interactive lessons tailored to the curriculum.
  • For School Administrators – We educate administrators on why financially literate teachers are empowered and how this adds value to their students’ experiences. Supporting teachers to gain this knowledge is not only good business practice, it is the right thing to do.
